    Size and Fit

    Snoozle is 56cm tall and 42cm across the arms, so it supports the shoulders and neck rather than just propping up the head. It suits roughly ages 1 to 8. The wings are what hold the head, so a child much taller than about 130cm will find it small.

    Will it fit my car?

    Yes. Two adjustable straps loop around the headrest and buckle behind it, so it works in any car with a headrest. It attaches to the seat, not to your child, so there is nothing crossing the seat belt or the car seat harness. About thirty seconds to fit.

    What age is it for?

    Best between about 1 and 8. Under 1 the head is still too small for the wings to do much. Over 8 most children have grown past it. The sweet spot is 2 to 6, which is when the head flopping is worst and when children still fall asleep in the car.

    How do I wash it?

    Machine wash at 30 on a gentle cycle, inside a pillowcase or a laundry bag to protect the embroidered face. Air dry it. Do not tumble dry, it flattens the filling. Because the face is stitched rather than printed, nothing lifts or peels in the wash.

    What is it made from?

    A soft short pile plush outer with a polyester fibre filling, the same as a good cushion. The face and paw pads are embroidered directly into the fabric. No plastic eyes, no buttons, and nothing glued on that can work loose.

    Does it work with car seats and boosters?

    Yes to both, and to a normal seat once your child is out of a booster. The straps go around the vehicle headrest rather than the car seat itself. On a high back booster you can loop them around the booster's own headrest instead. Either way the harness or belt goes on first, underneath, and must sit flat.

    Which animal should I choose?

    They are identical apart from the face, so pick the one your child would pick. Koda the Husky is the darkest and hides marks best. Mochi the Panda is the one you will wash most. Luna the Bunny and Poppy the Pig are the softest colours. If you are buying for two children, buy two different animals. It settles the argument about whose is whose before it starts.

    Can we use it outside the car?

    Yes. Planes, trains and pushchairs, anywhere a child sleeps sitting up. The straps are long enough to go round most seat backs and pram handles. It ends up on the sofa at home too, which is not what we designed it for but is what happens.
